Testimonials
Rob’s experience as an independent school athletics program professional over a twenty year plus career positions him as a leader in his field. His post graduate studies in educational leadership further position Rob to be a mentor to coaches and athletic administrators. His wisdom and knowledge have been earned through years of actually doing the hard work of leading athletic departments at independent schools in Atlanta and Raleigh. He is also well positioned to help schools to grow their athletic program through thoughtful and strategic planning.

My first memory of Rob Weltz was seeing a young man with a basketball dribbling around town everywhere he went. Years later I was lucky enough to coach that young man during his high school career. He had a determination that never was allowed to stay dormant. He had a turnover at a crucial stage of a game against a cross state rival. Before a rematch with the opponent ten days later, he spent countless hours working on his ball handling, especially on the ill fated move. He was given a do over in the closing seconds of the rematch. He put a move on his opponent and watched the deciding points fall through the net. This is how Rob has lived life moving forward. Give him a task and he will find a way.
Over the past thirty plus years, Rob has called to either pick my brain or ask for what my thought was about a particular dilemma. He wants to dot each i and cross each t to avoid any further turnovers. He is student driven and pursues every avenue to arrive at the best destination for each situation.
Rob recently was elected to his local school board. He spent time picking brains and studying the historical perspective of the position. He has his own views on a variety of topics but is a strategic thinker who insists on aligning the board’s views with the school’s mission and values. He insists on building a solid foundation to assure the best opportunity for success in everything he does.
